Your privacy matters to us. This page explains, in plain language, what information TechTips by Hanzla collects when you visit https://hanzala.website, and how we use it. We like to keep things simple: this is a small personal tech blog. We don’t sell your data, we don’t run ads, and we don’t use analytics trackers.

1. Who runs this site

TechTips (“Tech made simple, one guide at a time”) is a personal tech blog run by Hanzla. If you have any questions about this policy or your personal information, you can reach us at contact@hanzala.website.

2. What information we collect

Emails you send us. When you write to contact@hanzala.website, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to read and reply to you.

Comments. If you leave a comment on a post, we collect the name, email address, and website you provide, along with your comment, so we can display and moderate it.

Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information , such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit , in server logs. This helps keep the site secure and running smoothly.

3. Cookies

We only use the cookies that WordPress itself needs:

• If you leave a comment and tick “Save my name, email and website in this browser”, a small cookie remembers those details for your convenience (for up to one year).
• If you log in as a site administrator, WordPress sets the cookies needed to keep you signed in.

We don’t use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or marketing cookies from third parties , because this site doesn’t run ads or analytics.

4. Avatars and embedded content

When you leave a comment, an anonymised string (a “hash”) created from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service so your profile picture can appear next to your comment. Apart from that, our articles are plain text guides , we don’t embed videos, social feeds, or other third-party content.

5. How long we keep your data

Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Comments and their details stay published for as long as the related post is live, so the conversation still makes sense. Server logs are rotated automatically by our hosting provider.

6. Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it , for example, removing your comments or emails from our records. Just write to contact@hanzala.website and we’ll take care of it. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the site grows. The latest version will always be posted on this page.
